New York has over 700 cut flower growers across the state with a total sale value over $10.5 million (2022 Census of Agriculture).

Many New York flower farmers are looking to grow organically, produce flowers year-round, and diversify their operations.

Harvest New York supports these efforts by providing programming on cut flower marketing, market evaluations, diversification of operation, pricing, and agritourism.

  • Harvest New York works with over 30 CCE educators and specialists to support cut flower growers across the state.
  • This group works together to bring growers webinars, regional networking events, conferences, fact sheets, and more.
More than a dozen people stand in the doorway of a barn at McCollum Orchards and Gardens. Many are holding cut flower arrangements.
