Smart Energy Choices is a collaboration of Cornell Cooperative Extension offices in Broome, Chemung, Delaware, Schuyler, Tioga, and Tompkins counties, serving as the NYSERDA Regional Clean Energy Hub for the Southern Tier. Our team brings over a decade of energy experience, including work with the Community Energy Engagement Program, Ag Energy NY, and Clean Energy Communities.
As your local Hub, we help residents, small businesses, affordable housing providers, and nonprofits across the Southern Tier save money and improve comfort at home - with a focus on underserved and limited-opportunity communities. When you reach out, a trained Community Energy Advisor will connect you with resources on energy efficiency, clean heating and cooling, solar power, and more.
