Cornell Cooperative Extension of Broome County is proud to partner with the Broome County Veterans Services Agency to offer hands-on opportunities for veterans to build resiliency skills in gardening, cooking, healthy eating, and using community resources.
Farmers Market Bucks Veterans can receive Farmers Market Bucks redeemable at participating farmers markets in Broome County, including the Broome County Regional Farmers Market, Binghamton Farmers Market, Little Italy Farmers Market, Vestal Farmers Market, and Windsor Farmers Market. Veterans must be present to receive the coupons, and proof of veteran status is requested.
Programming Throughout the year, we offer additional opportunities for veterans to connect with one another and build skills in cooking, gardening, and healthy living, often in partnership with local chefs and community organizations. Offerings and schedules vary - contact our office for current opportunities.
