Orleans County Cornell Cooperative Extension hosts a variety of special events and programs throughout the year that support agriculture, youth development, and community engagement. These activities may not fit within a single program area, but they reflect the wide range of opportunities Extension brings to the community.
Events such as the Spring Rabbit Show, the Empire State Supreme Ewe Show, and AviNest bring together participants from across the region to share knowledge, showcase livestock, and celebrate agricultural interests. These programs create opportunities for learning, friendly competition, and connection among farmers, youth, hobbyists, and community members.
While each event is unique, they all support the mission of Cornell Cooperative Extension by encouraging education, skill building, and community involvement in Orleans County.
