Master Gardener Training

Interested in becoming a Master Gardener? Attend our Master Gardener Training for Jefferson and Lewis County Residents. 

Trainings will run January 15-March 24, 2026, on Tuesdays 9 AM - 2 PM & Thursdays 9 AM - 12 PM

What you'll learn:

  • Essential Gardening Techniques - The basics of soil preparation, watering, and plant care.
  • IPM Practices - Identify pest/diseases and management practices.
  • Teaching and Action Projects - Engage and present in your communities.
  • Plus: Plant propagation, invasive species, resources, garden themes.
