4-H Youth Mentoring
The 4-H mentoring program pairs youth ages 12-18 with community mentors. Through group events and one-on-one conversations, youth have the opportunity to learn new skills, explore local careers, and build relationships.
We are currently seeking mentors! If you would like to share your time or talents in mentoring a young person from Essex County, contact essex4h [at] cornell.edu (essex4h[at]cornell[dot]edu).
If you are seeking a mentor, whether for an academic project, a job shadow, a STEM workshop, or simply a conversation about the future, we’d love to hear from you too! Please contact essex4h [at] cornell.edu (essex4h[at]cornell[dot]edu).
Keep an eye on our calendar for upcoming mentoring group events at local farms and theaters, including a meet-and-greet at Twin Valley Outdoor Education Center this fall!
