4-H special programs are unique workshops, clinics, and demonstrations that allow young people to explore new skills. Examples of past workshops can be found below!

Happy Trails Horse Program

The 4-H Happy Trails program is a great chance for novice, intermediate, and advanced 4-Hers in and outside the equine program to learn, participate in, and explore topics through horse clinics. 

CCE Essex County Public Presentations

Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics (STEM)

The 4-H STEM program allows young people to explore topics and workshops within the STEM fields. Past workshops and topics included shark, squid, frog, and sea star dissections, structural engineering, robotics, and rockets.

The Essex County 4-H Welding program is led by a local welding professional and former 4-H member. This is a great opportunity for youth ages 13-15 to learn by doing and explore a unique career.
