Katie Oakes

Katie Oakes is the Horticulture Educator at Orleans County Cornell Cooperative Extension. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Horticulture from the University of Illinois and leads both the Master Gardener and Master Food Preserver programs. Katie is passionate about sharing her knowledge of plants, food preservation, and sustainable practices with the community. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, yoga, traveling, and working on her family’s apple orchard.
