Hands-On Learning

Students are assigned a career, salary, and personal financial scenario, then navigate real-world expenses like housing, transportation, food, and childcare. This interactive format turns financial concepts into practical experiences youth will remember!

Building Smart Money Habits

Participating youth will practice budgeting, evaluate spending decisions, and learn to manage both expected costs and unexpected costs. This helps them build confidence and responsibility with money.

Powered by Community Partnerships

We're able to make this program possible through collaboration with Northern Credit Union and local schools, demonstrating how partnerships expand access to impactful, real-world education for youth in our community!

Parenting Education Professionals

As of July 2023, CCE Jefferson is the new lead on New York State Parenting Education Partnership (NYSPEP).  This program's mission is to promote and improve parenting education, in order to enhance parenting skills, knowledge, and behavior with the vision of all children growing up in nurturing families. In 2006, a team from public and private New York State agencies came together to consider how to increase families' ability to nurture positive development in their children, part of the newly created Early Childhood Comprehensive Systems (ECCS) plan. They convened a statewide forum for parenting education providers to present the plan, and the New York State Parenting Education Partnership (NYSPEP) was launched.
