Learn how to successfully divide perennials and ornamental grasses at our Perennial Division workshop. Go home with a few great new plants for your very own garden! Join Cornell Cooperative Extension of Ulster County’s (CCEUC) Master Gardeners for this fun workshop at their Demonstrations Gardens located at the SUNY Ulster Campus, 491 Cottekill Road in Stone Ridge.
The Perennial Division workshop will take place on Saturday, October 17th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Please dress appropriately. It’s recommended that you bring gardening gloves and tools such as pitch forks, spades and trowels. Please bring a bucket or bags to take your divisions home in.
Participants will work in small groups guided by Master Gardeners. Registration is just $25 per person, and attendees will leave with some prize divisions from the Demonstration Gardens. Pre-registration is required by October 10th, 2026. Space is limited!
