Program overviews
In 4‑H, kids and teens complete hands-on projects in areas like science, creative arts, agriculture and civic engagement. These projects are developed with guidance from adult mentors, volunteers, and club leaders.
CCE Ulster's Agriculture program directly serves farmers and community members through programs in Livestock Production, Field Crops, Horticulture, and Agritourism.
Our staff engages communities to solve and respond to key environmental challenges, reduce and make more equitable our collective use of the Earth's resources, and inspire respect for natural systems and our reliance on them.
Our Community Horticulture Program serves the community's gardening, invasive species, and tree care needs. We offer soil testing, invasive species identification, bug identification, and more.
CCE Ulster offers free and low-cost educational workshops and useful information on food-related topics from food safety and nutrition to healthy eating on a limited budget.
