Governance & Year-Round Leadership	Board Member	Provides governance and strategic direction for Cornell Cooperative Extension of Orleans County by supporting the organization's mission, policies, financial stewardship, and long-term success.
	Fair Committee Member	Collaborates year-round to plan, organize, and improve the Orleans County 4-H Fair while supporting fair operations, policies, and special projects.
	Sponsorship Coordinator	Builds and maintains relationships with sponsors while assisting with sponsorship recruitment, recognition, and stewardship to support the fair's success.
	4-H Club Leader	Provides guidance and mentorship to 4-H youth by leading club meetings, encouraging positive youth development, and supporting educational experiences throughout the year.
	Master Gardener Volunteer	Shares research-based gardening information with the public through educational programs, community outreach, and volunteer service while representing Cornell Cooperative Extension.
	Master Food Preserver Volunteer	Educates the public on safe, research-based food preservation methods through workshops, demonstrations, and community outreach while representing Cornell Cooperative Extension.
Fair Leadership	Fair Manager	Provides overall leadership and operational oversight of the Orleans County 4-H Fair to ensure a safe, organized, and successful event.
	Fair Assistant Manager	Assists the Fair Manager with planning, coordination, and daily fair operations while providing leadership support as needed.
	Overall Animal Superintendent	Oversees all animal departments, supporting superintendents to ensure safe, educational, and well-coordinated animal exhibits and activities.
	Treasurer	Works with CCE financial staff to oversee fair finances, budgets, and financial reporting while supporting responsible fiscal management.
	Volunteer & Information Coordinator	Recruits, schedules, and supports volunteers while welcoming guests, answering questions, and connecting visitors with fair information and resources.
Animal Departments	Horse Barn Superintendent	Oversees the operation, safety, and management of the horse barn while supporting exhibitors throughout the fair.
	Horse Show Superintendent	Coordinates horse shows, judges, classes, and show operations to ensure fair and successful competitions.
	Dairy Cattle Superintendent	Oversees dairy cattle exhibits, shows, and youth exhibitors while promoting animal welfare and educational experiences.

	Canine Superintendent	Oversees canine educational activities and shows while supporting youth handlers and promoting safe interactions.
	Feline Superintendent	Coordinates feline exhibits and activities while ensuring a safe, educational, and positive experience for exhibitors and their cats.
Fair Operations & Facilities	Fair Maintenance Assistant	Assists with general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of the fairgrounds before, during, and after the fair.
	Fair Setup & Grounds Crew	Assists with preparing the fairgrounds through setup, light maintenance, painting, equipment movement, and cleanup projects.
	Summer Lawnmower Operator	Maintains fairgrounds by mowing and caring for grassy areas throughout the summer to prepare for fair activities.
	Fair Plumber	Assists with seasonal water systems, plumbing maintenance, and repairs to help ensure reliable water service throughout the fairgrounds.
	Electrician	Assists with setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of temporary electrical systems and equipment throughout the fairgrounds.
	Garbage & Disposal Manager	Oversees waste collection and grounds cleanup operations while supervising volunteers to maintain a clean and welcoming fairgrounds.
	Garbage & Disposal Assistant Manager	Assists with coordinating waste collection routes and supporting volunteers assigned to cleanup operations.
	Parking & Traffic Coordinator	Coordinates parking operations, traffic flow, and parking volunteers to provide safe and efficient access for exhibitors and fair guests.
	Camping Manager	Coordinates camper assignments, campground operations, and compliance with campground rules during the fair.
Commercial Exhibits & Guest Services	Commercial Exhibits Coordinator (Indoor)	Coordinates indoor commercial vendors to ensure an organized, welcoming, and successful vendor experience.
	Commercial Exhibits Coordinator (Outdoor)	Coordinates outdoor commercial vendors while assisting with layout, setup, and vendor support during the fair.
	Commercial Exhibits Host/Greeter	Welcomes visitors to the commercial exhibit areas, assists vendors and guests, and helps create a positive visitor experience.
	Signage Coordinator	Oversees the placement, maintenance, and removal of directional, informational, sponsor, and event signage throughout the fairgrounds.
	CCE Orleans Booth Representative	Welcomes visitors to the Cornell Cooperative Extension booth, shares information about Extension programs, and connects community members with available resources and services.
Entertainment & Activities	Entertainment Coordinator	Coordinates entertainers, schedules performances, and assists with entertainment logistics throughout the fair.
	Contests Coordinator	Organizes and oversees contests and special events to provide enjoyable, educational, and well-managed activities for fair attendees.
	Pedal Tractor Manager	Coordinates the pedal tractor activity, ensuring a fun, safe, and organized experience for youth participants.
	Ribbon/Show Box Manager	Maintains ribbons, awards, and show supplies to ensure judges and superintendents have the materials needed for competitions and events.
Communications & Media	Photographer	Captures photographs of fair activities, exhibitors, volunteers, and events to preserve memories and support promotional efforts.
	Videographer	Captures video footage of fair activities, interviews, and special events to preserve memories and support promotional and educational efforts.
	Social Media Volunteer	Creates and shares engaging content during fair events to highlight activities, recognize volunteers and exhibitors, and promote the fair through social media.
Food Service	Senior Council Stand Manager	Oversees the operation of the Senior Council food stand, coordinating volunteers, food service, and fundraising activities.
	Senior Council Stand Assistant Manager	Assists with managing daily operations of the Senior Council Stand and supports volunteers during food service.
	Senior Council Cashier	Processes customer transactions accurately while providing friendly service and supporting Senior Council fundraising efforts.
	Senior Council Cook	Prepares food safely and efficiently while supporting volunteers and providing quality meals for fair guests.
	Fry Stand Manager	Oversees operations of the fry stand, ensuring safe food preparation, volunteer coordination, and quality customer service.
	Fry Stand Assistant Manager	Assists with supervising fry stand operations and supports volunteers during food preparation and service.
	Food Worker – Fry	Assists with preparing and serving food safely while providing excellent customer service at the fry stand.
