Enroll
The Cornell Cooperative Extension Lake Ontario Fruit (LOF) Team invites fruit growers and agricultural professionals to enroll in our program and benefit from the expertise of our specialists and timely production information.
Enrollment Includes
- Fruit Notes: Our email newsletter with timely information on fruit production, pest management, and horticultural practices. The digital version is included at no additional cost.
- Fruit Facts: A digital subscription with timely pest management and horticultural reminders.
- Harvest Maturity Reports: A digital subscription providing apple ripening measurements to help determine harvest timing by variety.
- Specialist Support: Consultation to help troubleshoot production problems and evaluate situations.
- On-Farm Visits: Available to growers enrolled through our partner counties, when appropriate.
Partner County Enrollment
Growers who farm or live in a partner county should contact their local Cornell Cooperative Extension office to learn how to enroll or renew. Partner-county enrollment provides access to the full range of LOF services, including specialist consultation and on-farm visits.
Satellite Enrollment
The LOF Program is supported in part by Cornell Cooperative Extension offices in Monroe, Niagara, Orleans, Oswego, and Wayne Counties. Growers and agricultural professionals outside the five partner counties can enroll through our Satellite Enrollment program.
Satellite members receive Fruit Notes and may subscribe to Fruit Facts and Harvest Maturity Reports. They also have access to LOF specialists by phone, email, or fax.
Because partner counties provide significant support for the program, Satellite members are not eligible for on-farm visits or applied research activities outside the partner counties.
Satellite enrollment is available by mail or through our online credit-card enrollment form.
Already Enrolled?
If you are already enrolled and would like to add the Harvest Maturity Report, you can enroll separately for this service.
