Range of Motion

The Range of Motion program consists of strengthening and endurance exercises using gentle stretches, light weights, hand balls, and resistance bands. It helps maintain flexible joints, reduces stiffness, improves balance, and helps you feel better overall.

This program combines the game of bingo, exercise, and health education. Sessions can focus on exercise and falls prevention, or exercise and nutrition.

A Matter of Balance

This program emphasizes practical strategies to manage falls. You learn to view falls as controllable, set goals for increasing activity, make changes to reduce fall risks at home, and exercise to increase strength and balance. Who should attend? Anyone concerned about falls, interested in improving balance, flexibility, and strength, or who has fallen in the past, and anyone who has restricted activities because of falling concerns.

Tai Chi for Arthritis

This form consists of gentle stretching and relaxing movements specifically designed to alleviate some of the discomfort associated with arthritis as well as improve your general health.

Walk with Ease

This is a 6-week walking program that incorporates health education, stretching, and strengthening exercises. It can be done independently or with a group.
