A Community Fundraiser Benefitting the Cornell Master Gardener Program

This class is offered as a fundraiser benefitting the Cornell Master Gardener Program, helping support educational gardening programs, community outreach, environmental stewardship, and horticultural education throughout our region.

What You'll Learn:

During this six-week introductory series, participants will explore:

Fundamental Tai Chi movements 
Foundational Qi Gong exercises 
Proper breathing techniques 
Balance and coordination 
Relaxation and stress reduction 
Improved posture and body awareness 
Gentle methods for cultivating vitality 
An introduction to feeling and cultivating Qi 
Practices that may be continued for a lifetime

About your instructor: Steve Czajkowski is a Cornell Certified Master Gardener Volunteer and a Certified Shifu (Instructor), 2nd Duan, in the traditional Chinese art of 8 Step Preying Mantis Kung Fu (八步螳螂拳).

His teaching emphasizes authentic internal training through relaxed movement, proper body alignment, mindful breathing, and learning to feel and cultivate Qi (氣)—the vital life energy described in traditional Chinese philosophy.

Donation: $125 per participant

Your registration includes:

Six weeks of Tai Chi & Qi Gong instruction 
An official commemorative class T-shirt (hoodie is available for an additional charge)
Support for the Cornell Master Gardener Program 
Participants are encouraged to wear their official class T-shirt each week as the class uniform throughout the six-week series.
