Livestock Interviews

Livestock Interviews are for all exhibitors participating in the 2026 4-H Meat Animal
Sale at the Cattaraugus County Fair. In past years, they happen during fair week,
however we have moved them prior to fair in hopes to alleviate some stress during
fair!
Exhibitors only have to complete 1 interview, regardless of the number of sale
animals -
Exhibitors will be asked the same questions relevant to their experience level
and species - 1st and 2nd years, 3rd and 4th years, and 5th + years.
Questions focus on what you know about your project with some general
industry questions. The older you are, the more detailed the questions will be!
This process goes hand-in-hand with year end project awards as well as letting
us (4-H Staff & Livestock Volunteers) know what our 4-Her’s interests are and
the future programming we can provide!
